Students who need to participate in this round of dormitory reservation include:

1. Currently enrolled BFSU international students who have not completed the summer dormitory extension procedure and have not retained their current dormitory;

2. International students admitted to BFSU for the 2026 Fall Semester.

Students who do not need to participate include:

1. Current international students who have completed the summer dormitory extension procedure as required and retained their current dormitory;

2. Full-scholarship students and inter-university exchange students whose dormitory fees are waived and whose dormitories have been reserved in advance by the University.

Please refer to Reservation instructions for accommodation in BFSU International Student Service System (Attachment I) to make a dormitory reservation. If you have not registered an account in the BFSU International Student Service System, please refer to How to register a new account of BFSU (Attachment II) to register and bind your student information. Students are advised to complete account registration and information binding before the reservation period begins, so as not to affect the reservation process.

Room reservations will be open from 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026 to 9:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026, and will close once all available rooms have been booked.

Dormitory resources are limited. Online dormitory reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis and will close when all available places are fully reserved. The University will make overall arrangements according to dormitory availability to meet the basic dormitory needs of eligible students, but cannot guarantee individual preferences regarding building, floor, orientation, room type, room, bed, or roommate.

The remaining availability displayed in the system is dynamic and may change in real time when multiple students log in, browse, and submit applications at the same time. Seeing remaining availability in the system, selecting a room type, or clicking the “Reserve” button does not mean that a dormitory place has been locked or successfully reserved.

The dormitory reservation result is subject to the valid reservation record ultimately generated in the system and the review result. A reservation is considered successful only when the system shows “Status: Confirmed”. Applications that are not successfully submitted, do not generate a valid reservation record, are not completed within the reservation period, or do not show “Confirmed” in the system are deemed unsuccessful.

During the reservation period, due to a large number of simultaneous users, network congestion, delayed page refresh, the student’s own device or network environment, operation delays, failure to confirm submission in time, or relevant dormitory places being successfully reserved by other students first, students may experience slow page loading, delayed display of information, submission failure, or failure to reserve the desired room type. If a student fails to reserve the desired room type or room for any of the above reasons, this shall not be used as a basis for requesting the University to separately reserve, restore, change or assign a specific room type, room, bed or roommate, or to arrange a single room.

Non-system channels such as email, phone and WeChat are only for consultation and notification, and are not used to lock, reserve or assign dormitory places for individuals in advance. Students who fail to reserve their preferred dormitory place may continue to choose from the remaining availability in the system; if the University later issues notices on supplementary reservation, dormitory adjustment or room change, please follow those notices.

1. Log in to the reservation system during the reservation period and view dormitory room types, prices, and remaining availability online.

2. Select a room type according to your personal needs and the current dormitory availability displayed in the system, and submit the reservation application.

3. After submitting the application, please wait for review by staff. The reservation is successful only when the system shows “Status: Confirmed”.

4. No deposit is required after the reservation is confirmed.

5. After the reservation is confirmed, students must come to campus to complete check-in procedures within the required registration/check-in period. If a student fails to check in within the required period and has not obtained prior approval from the relevant school/institute for delayed registration, the reserved dormitory place will not be retained and the reservation record will become invalid. Students who cannot check in on time due to objective reasons must contact their school/institute in advance, explain the situation and provide supporting materials (Contact Info. of the Institutes and Schools: https://lb.bfsu.edu.cn/info/2952/5161.htm).

1. Upon check-in, students must complete dormitory registration at the front desk and sign the Letter of Commitment on Dormitory Accommodation at BFSU (Attachment III).

2. During the stay, students must pay dormitory fees in full and on time (fees are paid by semester upon check-in), abide by Chinese laws and regulations, BFSU rules and regulations, and strictly observe BFSU dormitory management regulations.

3. Students must ensure that the information submitted for dormitory reservation and subsequent procedures is true, complete and valid. The University will handle false information or concealment of important facts in accordance with relevant regulations.
